TAKING YOUR PUPPY HOME

At last you have found your Golden Retriever puppy, and it's time to start your new life together. We will do our best to make this transition as easy as possible for you and your new friend. We suggest picking up your puppy when you have a day or two free, to help him or her adjust to the new surroundings. Golden Retrievers are very adaptable and we feel confident your adjustment will be fine.

WHAT WE PROVIDE YOU WITH

Your beautiful puppy, of course!

A several day supply of food

All veterinary records, including vaccines given and testing completed

A copy of the pedigree of both Sire and Dam

A copy of your contract

A slip on leash

AKC Registration Information

Your puppy will have been micro-chipped and all information will be given to you.

We will provide you with training information

IF YOU ARE DRIVING

We recommend you bring along your puppy's crate, with a towel or two inside. A Golden Retriever will fit in a 36x24 crate for life. Please purchase a wire crate, as Goldens love to see what is going on around them Plastic airline kennels are for just that, Airline travel.

If your driving a long distance, please bring a small bowl and a bottle of water, plastic bags, paper towels and some baby wipes.

IF YOU ARE FLYING

We are conveniently located about 15 minutes from O'Hare Airport. If you choose to fly in one day, and fly home the next, we have recommendations for hotels near our home. Flight plans and arrangements should be made well in advance. We will be happy to help with all the necessary steps on our end.

FULL PAYMENT IS EXPECTED AT THE TIME YOU PICK UP YOUR NEW PUPPY. PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE CASH, VISA / MASTERCARD / DISCOVER OR CERTIFIED CHECK.
