BROKER

A puppy broker basically does the searching, finding, and delivering of your puppy to you. (We've always found all those things to be a fun experience!)

These are the advantages of a broker:

1. You literally have to do nothing but let them know what you are looking for in a puppy.

2. A broker will find a puppy for you through their 'contacts', and often times deliver the puppy to you in person.

3. If importing, a broker will handle all the importation and shipping issues.

Sounds easy? Here's the disadvantages:

1. You will, most likely, never meet  the breeder of your new puppy.

2. You will, most likely, never see where this puppy lived and under what conditions.

3. You will, most likely, never see in person, the parents of the puppy or be able to speak to the breeder.

4. Most often, your puppy is chosen from 1 or 2 pictures, and does not always appear in person as the pictures represented.

5. You do not receive any Breeder support throughout your dog's life.

6. Also, keep in mind, the broker is also being paid for their service to you.

7. Insist on health records from a licensed Veterinarian, not only for your puppy, but for the parents of your puppy, too.
